The Town of Seneca completed a re-write of its Comprehensive Plan in 2002. A strong rural agricultural community was the number one priority at that time.
In 2012, the Town created a committee to review the Comprehensive Plan as it pertained to the current environment and a new survey was sent to the residents of the Town. The results from the survey concluded that the plan adopted in 2002 was still relevant and that the strength of the rural agricultural community is most important to Town constituents.
