The Highway Department maintains approximately 75 miles of roads throughout the Town. This includes building, maintaining, and re-constructing all town roads and ditches parallel with the roadway. The Highway Department mows all town and county road right-of-ways within the town limits in the summer and is responsible for plowing these same roads in the winter.

FILL DIRTDuring the Summer months, the Highway Department often needs to dump fill from road projects. If you would like to accept fill on your property, complete and submit our Fill Dirt Application below.

WOODVarious times during the year we have the need to take down trees or clear branches. While we do not cut and split the wood, log-lengths may be available. Please fill out the Application below.

Please keep in mind that requests for Fill Dirt and Wood are for TOWN RESIDENTS ONLY and satisfied on a first come, first serve basis. The location of the work being done will determine the general area we will be delivering to and will be placed in an previously agreed upon location. We will make every attempt to satisfy all requests by the end of the year. The Town of Seneca will not be responsible for any damages while delivering materials to Town Residents.
